Dato' Dr Abdul Samad Sakijan
Clinical Radiologist
Dato’ Samad served in the Department of Radiology in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1978 to 1997. He has contributed tremendously to the enhancement of Malaysia’s Radiology services. His notable contributions include establishing the first postgraduate radiology programme (MMed Radiology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysian in 1984. Dato’ Samad also pioneered IR at HKL, 1984. He won the Gold Medal of Asia Pacific Society Cardio Vascular Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR) 2019 for pioneering IR in Malaysia. He is currently a consultant radiologist at Sentosa Medical and IJN.
Dr Alex Khoo Cheen Hoe
Nuclear Physician
Dr Alex Khoo Cheen Hoe graduated from University of Malaysia and pursued his postgraduate studies in nuclear medicine from University of Science Malaysia. He is board-certified fellow of the Asian Nuclear Medicine Board as well as the European Board of Nuclear Medicine. He is currently working at Adventist Nuclear Medicine Centre which is the first private center with comprehensive nuclear medicine center in Northern Malaysia.
Prof Dr Anushya Vijayananthan
Consultant Radiologist
Anushya Vijayananthan is a Professor and Consultant Clinical Radiologist at the Department of Biomedical Imaging, University of Malaya. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi in 1992 and then went on to complete her Master of Radiology (MRad) at the University of Malaya in 2001. She subsequently did her training stints overseas in Vascular Ultrasound at the Thane Ultrasound Center, Mumbai in 2004 followed by a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, UK in 2006. Her special interests include women's imaging, vascular ultrasound and interventional radiology. She also has a keen interest in MRgFUS (Magnetic Resonance guided Focussed Ultrasound Surgery) especially for gynae pathologies. In recent years she has been involved in shearwave imaging especially for the breast, endometrium, lymph nodes, thyroid and liver. She is involved in medical education both undergraduate and post graduate and is the OSCE Coordinator for the Faculty of Medicine at University of Malaya and also the Post graduate Coordinator of the department. She is currently also the Coordinator of the Continuing Biomedical Imaging Education Centre responsible for the organization of courses in the department.
Dr Asokan R. Nair
Consultant Clinical Radiologist
Dr Asokan obtained his medical degree from University Malaya in 1986 and the Fellow of the Royal College of Radiology in 1994. He is currently a Consultant Radiologist in Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur where he has been working for more than 20 years. He also currently holds the post of Clinical Lecturer in KPJUC. Because of his passion for teaching, he obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (Radiology) from University of Dundee. He has been conducting viva teaching sessions for the trainees and has been an examiner in the preparatory courses for the MRad in Malaysia, for the FRCR preparatory courses in Singapore and external examiner for the MRad examinations.
Prof Dr Do Kyung Hyun
Professor of Radiology
Dr Kyung-Hyun Do is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Ulsan, College of Medicine, Asan Medical Center. She graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and obtained her medical degree. She was trained at the Seoul National University Hospital during her residency. Afterward, she completed a fellowship at Asan Medical Center as a board-certified radiologist and her subspecialty is thoracic and cardiovascular imaging. Her clinical research focuses on imaging of interstitial lung disease, ICU radiology, and pulmonary infection. She is also one of the radiation protection specialists in Korea and has had many research projects about medical radiation protection and quality management in radiology. Currently, she is deeply committed to medical societies. She is a member of the KSR executive council and chairs the Radiology advocacy network of Korea for quality and safety (RANK-QS) committee of KSR. She is a director of international relations at the Korean Medical Association.

Dr Farhana Fadzli

Dr Farhana is a Senior Lecturer, Clinical and Breast Radiologist at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, She underwent post graduate training at University of Malaya and obtained her FRCR in UK. She joined UM as an academic staff in 2007. She completed her Fellowship in Breast Imaging in 2019. Her clinical interests and research contributions are mainly focused on Breast Imaging, Molecular Imaging and Neuroradiology. Dr Farhana has published and presented numerous publications and scientific papers in peer reviewed journals. She is active in clinical research serving currently as principal investigator and collaborator for studies in breast oncology, advanced MRI applications and musculoskeletal, among others.
Dr Gokula Kumar Appalanaido
Senior Lecturer and Radiation Oncologist
Dr Gokula studied medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and pursued his 5-year specialist training under the Royal Australian and New Zealand College Of Radiologists (RANZCR) Consultant Radiation Oncologist training programme. During this time he has worked at National University Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore and William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre, Alfred Health, Melbourne. He was awarded the Fellowship in Radiation Oncology (FRANZCR) by RANZCR in 2013. Dr Gokula is currently working as Senior Medical Lecturer at Advanced Medical And Dental Institute, Universiti Sains Malaysia and also Visiting Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Penang Adventist Hospital. His primary interest is brachytherapy for liver, gastrointestinal, prostate, head & neck and gynaecological. Dr Gokula has published in international citation indexed journals and vastly contributed to the field of Radiation Oncology/Brachytherapy. The HyBIRT radiotherapy technique for tongue cancer is a novel treatment method developed by AMDI-USM team lead by Dr Gokula.
Dr Harissa Husainy Hasbullah

Dr Harissa graduated from Glasgow Medical School. She joined UiTM in 2008 as a trainee lecturer. Subsequently she obtained her postgraduate qualification in Master of Clinical Oncology from University Malaya in 2014. She has worked as clinical oncologist at various MOH and MOE facilities before settling down currently at the new UiTM hospital in Puncak Alam also known as Hospital al-Sultan Abdullah (HaSA) UiTM. Apart from clinical work, she is also involved in research, publication, teaching as well as leading the oncology unit in HaSA.
Assoc Prof Dr Hasyma Abu Hassan

Dr Hasyma Abu Hassan is an associate professor and consultant radiologist in Universiti Putra Malaysia. She underwent undergraduate study in Trinity College Dublin and obtained Master of Radiology from University of Malaya. She completed a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship training at Royal Children Hospital Melbourne and shows special interest in Neonatal and Fetal Imaging. She has been active in Postgraduate Radiology training program as a program coordinator in UPM, a writer for Postgraduate National Curriculum in Radiology, an examiner, and standard setting committee for the National Conjoint Board of Radiology.
Professor Hidetaka Arimura

Hidetaka Arimura received a BS in 1989 and an MS in 1991 in electronics and information engineering, and his PhD in engineering from Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1996. He used to work for Shimadzu Corporation from 1991 to 1996, Tokyo Women’s Medical University from 1996 to 1998, Hiroshima International University from 1998 to 2002, and the University of Chicago from 2002 to 2004. He is currently working as a professor in Division of Medical Quantum Science, Department of Health Sciences, Kyushu University. His research interests include imaging biopsy, tumor mathematical models, and radiomics for high precision diagnosis and radiotherapy.
Dr Jarrel Seah
Associate Director for Clinical AI
Dr Jarrel Seah is a radiology registrar at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne and an AI engineer at annalise.ai. He has a keen interest in developing and applying novel deep learning algorithms in radiology and particularly in explainable AI. He has published and presented in both medical and technical conferences such as SPIE and Radiology, and is a coordinator of the inaugural RANZCR Catheter and Line Position Kaggle challenge. Named in Forbes 30 under 30, in 2014 he co-developed Eyenaemia, an app that allows people to use their cell phone to screen for anaemia, while studying medicine at Monash University, which won the World Championship and World Citizenship Competition for the Imagine Cup, an annual competition run by Microsoft. Jarrel provides clinical and technical guidance in the development and validation of AI models at Annalise.ai and Harrison.ai, and undertakes cutting-edge research within the field of deep learning in radiology.
Assoc Prof Dr Jeannie Wong Hsiu Ding

Jeannie Wong studied Biomedical Engineering, followed by Master of Medical Physics at the Universiti Malaya. She received her PhD from the University of Wollongong, Australia. She started her career at the Department of Biomedical Imaging, Faculty of Medicine, the Universiti Malaya as a senior lecturer in 2011. Her research interests include radiation dosimetry, radiotherapy, medical imaging and radiomics. She has published over 70 papers to date. She was promoted to associate professor in 2018. Dr Wong has vast experience in the teaching of radiation physics and biostatistics at the postgraduate level. She has been involved as lecturer and examiner for the Master of Radiology and Master of Clinical Oncology at the Universiti Malaya since 2012. In 2019, she received the Southeast Asian Federation of Organizations of Medical Physics (SEAFOMP) Young Leader Award.
Prof Dr Kartini Rahmat

Dr Kartini is Professor and Radiology Consultant at the Biomedical Imaging Department, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She obtained post-graduate qualifications from University of Malaya and furthered subspeciality training in Royal Perth Hospital and Queensquare Hospital London. Her clinical interests and research contributions are focused on Neuroradiology, Breast Imaging, and advanced MRI applications. Dr Kartini currently serves as the unit Head of University of Malaya Research Imaging Centre (UMRIC). She has worked on numerous research projects and principal investigator for breast oncology, cancer radiomics, neurodegenerative disease and epilepsy disorders.
Dr Khairil Amir Sayuti

Dr Khairil Amir Sayuti is currently the Head of Radiology Department, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia. He specializes in general radiology with subspeciality training in cardiac imaging, namely the MRI and CT, with an exposure to cardiac nuclear scintigraphy. He underwent cardiac imaging training at the Institut Jantung Negara, KL and CMR unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. He has since delivered lectures in imaging of cardiac diseases, which include the acquired and congenital pathology. He is also actively involved in research in cardiac imaging locally as well as having international collaboration.

Jek strives to be a well-rounded MR imaging advisor, aiming for excellence in the “triple threat” of clinical, education and commercial. He believes that a good MR imaging advisor must understand the clinical, workflow and education needs as the foundation. Jek received his Diploma in Radiography at the University of Malaya in 2003, bachelor degree of Diagnostic Imaging at Anglia Ruskin University, UK in 2006 and his Master of MR imaging at the University of Malaya in 2011. Currently, he is a Clinical Modality Leader of MR imaging, GE Healthcare South East Asia region. Assoc Prof Dr Mohammad Nazri Md Shah
Clinical Radiologist & Nuclear Medicine Specialist
Dr Nazri is currently the clinical services' coordinator at the Department of Biomedical Imaging, University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. He specialises in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, with special interests in oncology and hybrid imaging, including CT, MRI, SPECT-CT, and contrast-enhanced PET-CT. Dr Nazri frequently attends multidisciplinary-team discussions with various oncology-related clinical units, including urology, colorectal surgery and head & neck oncology, and has published various scientific papers encompassing shear wave elastography, CT and MRI. Dr Nazri also has a keen interest in the technological side of radiology and is a system administrator for UMMC's PACS system, and, along with the hospital's IT Department, has also co-developed UMMC's in-house Radiology information System.
Dato' Dr Mohan Arunasalam A. Nallusamy
Senior Paediatric Surgeon
Dato’ Mohan Nallusamy is a senior Paediatric Surgeon currently based in Ipoh. He retired in 2020, after 35 years of service in the Ministry of Health, the last 23 years of which were based in Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB), Alor Setar. This long stint led to the establishment of HSB as the Northern regional centre for Paediatric Surgery, and thus, the regional centre for the management of Biliary atresia. With the support of the current team of Paediatric Surgeons in Alor Setar, much of his time in the 5 years or so prior to retirement was devoted to providing outreach services through regular visits to Kangar, Seberang Jaya and Taiping. It is through these visits that Dato’ Mohan has helped to set up and maintain a Managed Care Network for the care of Paediatric Surgical patients in MOH hospitals in Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak. This informal Network has encouraged the development of a close working relationship among all parties involved in managing paediatric surgical patients, including paediatricians, radiologists, anaesthetists and general surgeons.
Dr Nasibah Mohamad

Nasibah Mohamad is a medical lecturer and Radiologist at School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She earned the medical degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2008 and obtained a local scholarship in 2015 to pursue Masters in Radiology at Universiti Sains Malaysia where she graduated in 2019. She served Hospital Kuala Lipis as Radiologist in 2019 and joined Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2020. Now she pursues her interest in interventional radiology. Dr Nasibah is a Junior member of Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology. Apart from MySIR, she is the vice president of East Coast Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology (ECSNIR) based in East Coast.
Assoc Prof Dr Noramaliza Mohd Noor

Assoc Prof Dr Noramaliza Mohd Noor started her career as an academician in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, UPM since 2012. She obtained her BSc (Medical Physics) and MSc (Medical Physics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. She then pursued her PhD in Radiotherapy Dosimetry at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Noramaliza is an active researcher in the field of Medical Physics, as evident from her involvement in more than 14 grants from government and industries where she serves as the principal investigator. She had published more than 60 articles in high impact journals from well-established publishers and also had two patents and one copyright. Currently, she held the position of the head, Medical Physics Unit and also as a Radiation protection officer at Teaching Hospital Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Prof Dr Norlisah Mohd Ramli
Clinical Radiologist
Dr Norlisah is a Professor of Radiology, Department of Biomedical Imaging and a Neuroradiology Consultant for University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated with an MBBS University of Malaya and obtained her FRCR in London. She has received her radiology training at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham and has her neurointerventional training under Bicetre hospital in Paris. Her main research contribution has been in the field of neuroimaging. She is one of the Merdeka Awards recipients in 2008. Professor Dr Norlisah has published over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and oversees over 100 scientific papers. She has also organized and directed several workshops on neuroradiology imaging and serves as an expert team mission for IAEA. She also serves as a reviewer for various grants applications such as the UMRG and Science funds. She is currently the President College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and Organizing Chairperson for Asean Oceania Congress of Radiology 2021.
Dr Norzaini Rose Mohd Zain

Dr Norzaini Rose Mohd Zain graduated with MBBS from Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1995. She holds a Masters of Radiology degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia and is also a Fellow of Royal College of Radiology (United Kingdom). She did her Neuroradiological training locally as well as in Royal Melbourne Hospital and Brain Research Institute, Victoria, Australia from 2008-2009. Currently Dr Norzaini Rose is the Head of Radiology Service for Ministry of Health Malaysia and a senior Consultant Neuroradiologist in Department of Radiology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, which is the biggest tertiary public hospital and the National Referral Centre for Neurosciences field in Malaysia. She is a trainer for Neuroradiology fellowship program. She holds membership and sits in various local and regional radiological committees. Dr Norzaini Rose is also involved in journals publication as well as conference proceedings and has been regularly invited as speakers in both local and international conferences. Her main interests are in the field of Neuroinflammatory conditions, Demyelinating and Neurodegenerative disorders.
Dr Nor Zuliana Dzulkifli

Dr Nor Zuliana Dzulkifli is a radiologist in Institut Kanser Negara (IKN), Putrajaya. She graduated with MBBS degree from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2004 followed by post- graduation master degree in radiology at Universiti Malaya in year 2013. Dr Rohazly Ismail

Obtained her Medical degree from Manchester University, England in 1997 and returned to work in Malaysia after completing the housemanship in the UK. Worked as medical officer in Hospital Kuala Terengganu, Hospital Besut, Hospital Banting and Hospital Selayang. Underwent the Masters programme for Radiology in HUKM. Upon graduating as a specialist, she worked in Hospital Selayang for 2 years before pursuing the subspecialty programme in Paediatric Radiology. She completed the three years subspecialty programme in 2012 (two years in Institut Pediatrik, HKL and one year fellowship in Royal Children Hospital, Melbourne, Australia) Currently working as a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist in Hospital Tunku Azizah. Current role and activities include a committee member of Radiology Parallel Programme Pathway for medical specialist, a committee member and lecturer in Paediatric CT in the development of the curriculum for Advanced Diploma CT for radiographers and a member of Hospital Research Review Committee, HTA Kuala Lumpur.
Assoc Prof Dr Rozman Zakaria
Senior Consultant Radiologist
Rozman Zakaria is an associate professor of radiology, a senior consultant radiologist, a consultant interventional radiologist, and also the current HOD of the Department of Radiology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his degree in medicine from the University of Queensland, Australia, and Professional Doctor of Medicine (Radiology) (UKM) in 2005. Throughout his career, he has trained a significant number of radiologists. He was the immediate past Chairman of the University Conjoint Board of Radiology Specialty, and currently the chairperson of the Physics for Medical Imaging subcommittee under the conjoint. The role of the committee is to carry out interval review of the physics component in the radiology curriculum, to ensure its relevance to present radiology practice. Besides, the committee is also tasked at setting out the physics questions for the M.Med(Rad) exam. His subspecialty is in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neurointerventional Radiology, and has served as the Vice President of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MYSIR, 2015-2017). He now sits as a member of advisory committee for the Malaysia Society of Neurointerventional Radiology (MyNIS). He has trained a number of local and international IRs and has given talks and been a faculty of Interventional Radiology meetings, workshops and conferences. He was a council member in Malaysian Board of Interventional Radiology (MBIR), a body that regulates the teaching, training and credentialing of IRs. At present, he is the course director of UKM Neurointerventional Radiology Fellowship Training. His current research mainly focuses on the effectiveness of mechanical thrombectomy in acute strokes. He is also involved in the internationally sponsored dendritic cell immunotherapy in the treatment of advanced cancers, and as the principle investigator of the study, vascular angioplasty in the treatment of ejaculatory dysfunction.
Dr Shamsiah Abdul Hamid

Dr Shamsiah is a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Radiologist at the Faculty of Medicine UiTM and practicing at Hospital Al Sultan Abdullah, Puncak Alam, She completed her post graduate and breast imaging fellowship training at University of Malaya in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Dr Shamsiah also obtained her European Diploma of Breast Imaging recently in 2022. Assoc Prof Dr Shahizon Azura Mohamed Mukari

Shahizon Azura Mohamed Mukari is an Associate Professor and Consultant Neuroradiologist at the Department of Radiology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre. She obtained her Bachelor degree from the University of Glasgow in 1995. She received her Master in Medicine (Radiology) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005 and underwent sub specialization training in Neuroradiology in University Malaya Medical Centre. She is deeply involved in the Conjoint Board of Radiology that oversees the direction and training of Radiology specialization in Malaysia. She is involved in the direction and supervision of the radiology-training program in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia since 2006. She holds various roles in Conjoint Board of Radiology such as an examiner for Master of Radiology, a member of exam vetting committee, pre entrance exam chairperson and a member of Conjoint Board of Radiology. She is an active member of the Neuroradiology Special Interest Group, which is under the College of Radiology, its aim is to share knowledge with the radiology community in Malaysia by conducting courses/workshop and seminars. As an academician, she has published articles in refereed journal articles, conferences and supervised Masters of Radiology (UKM) candidates to completion. She has also secured several local grants for her research projects.

Graduated from Sindh Medical College, Pakistan in 2001. Housemanship in Hospital Alor Setar. Worked as Medical Officer in KK Kuala Nerang, KK Kuala Sanglang, JKN Perlis and ED HTF, Kangar. Joined Master’s degree in HUSM Kubang Kerian Kelantan and graduated in 2015. Gazetted and worked in Hospital Sarikei, Sarawak for 2 years. Joined subspeciality Cardiac Imaging in 2018. Due to COVID endemic travel restrictions, she completed her subspecialty locally including Hospital Serdang, IJN, HSAJB and HPP. Earlier, she went to Southampton Heart Centre, UK (2018) and DGMIF, Daegu, South Korea (2019) under ASCI-PT for basic CMR courses. Currently is in Jabatan Radiologi Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar.
Dr Shazril Imran Shaukat
Consultant Clinical Oncologist
Dr Shazril Imran is currently the Resident Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani and Sessional Oncologist at Pantai Hospital Penang. He currently serves as Honorary Lecturer in Oncology with Universiti Sains Malaysia. He attained his undergraduate degree from University of Leicester, United Kingdom and attained his Fellow in Clinical Oncology (FRCR) from the Royal College of Radiologists, UK. Apart from clinical duties, he is also currently involved as Principal Investigator for Phase 3 Clinical Trials, Trainer for National Parallel Pathway Clinical Oncology Programme and also has taken the role as co-supervisor for PhD and Masters Students.
Dr Shobhana Sivandan
Consultant Radiologist
Dr Shobhana Sivandan is a radiologist practicing at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, Seremban and concurrently undergoing her 3rd year of fellowship in thoracic radiology. After graduating with an MBBS degree from International medical university in 2006, she pursued and completed her masters in radiology from University Malaya in 2015. Apart from HTJ Seremban ,she has also served Hospital Sibu and Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah, Kuala Pilah as a Radiologist. Dr Shobhana is actively involved in various virtual thoracic multidisciplinary team discussions at IPR, Hospital Seremban, and Hospital Serdang, to name a few. For the various courses held by College of Radiology and Institut Perubatan Respiratory Malaysia, Dr Shobhana has been invited as a Speaker. She is also a member of several associations: namely the Malaysia Medical Association, College of Radiology Malaysia, Asian and Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia as well as Malaysian Thoracic Society. Dr Shobhana is also a Honorary Lecturer of the School of Medicine, International Medical University (IMU).

Play a role and contribute to the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment procedures of human disease while ensuring the safety of the patients and public.
Assoc Prof Dr Subapriya Suppiah
Consultant Radiologist
Associate Professor Dr Subapriya Suppiah is a dual-trained Nuclear Medicine Physician and Clinical Radiologist working at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She is also the Head of the Nuclear Imaging Department at her institutional teaching hospital, Hospital Pengajar UPM. She is currently the Vice President for the Nuclear Medicine wing of the College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine Malaysia. She is also a council member for the Malaysian Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and heads the research subgroup of the society. Her keen interest in brain imaging has led her to be the founder of the Malaysian Society of Neurocognitive Clinical and Behavioural Imaging, known as NeuroCoB Society for short. Along with her postgraduate students, she conducts research and various educational events under NeuroCoB society and lab that are related to her research interests, which is imaging of behavioural addictions and Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics as well as oncology molecular imaging. Furthermore, Dr Priya is the Malaysian National Counterpart for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna and works closely with the Malaysian Nuclear Agency in the regional technical cooperation project RAS6091 for the APAC region. Under this project, she has helped coordinate programmes that have helped strengthen nuclear medicine human capacity building in this region. She is a florid writer and has published more than 50 articles in ISI/JCR indexed journals related to radiology, nuclear medicine, and neuroimaging.
Mr Sundar R K

He is an alumni from Govt Medical College and SCTIMST, Trivandrum , India where he did his post graduate diploma in Imaging Science. He has long history of more than 20 years as clinical specialist in the field of diagnostic imaging. He started his career with GE Healthcare India as Clinical Applications specialist MR and CT and later moved as product leader CT and head of clinical applications. He played key role in developing various imaging tools and protocols in CT, as well as making cost effective CT model in the value segment in GE Healthcare. He is a vivid teacher and contributed several publications in the field of CT imaging with GE.
Dr Tan Li Kuo

Dr Tan Li Kuo is currently a senior lecturer in Medical Physics in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. He was previously the head of Biomedical Engineering in the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Malaysia, for 5 years. He has co-authored over 40 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals. His research interests include medical imaging, image processing, and artificial intelligence.

Dr Vivek Yedavalli
Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology and the Director of Stroke, Neurovascular, and Perfusion Imaging and the Chief of Neuroradiology
Dr Vivek Srikar Yedavalli is currently an Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology and the Director of Stroke, Neurovascular, and Perfusion Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital. With a strong interest in research, Dr Yedavalli was awarded the Roengten Research Award twice by the RSNA and also subsequently received the AUR/ACR Research Scholar Award and Grant. Dr Yedavalli’s primary research interests are in stroke and perfusion imaging in addition to stroke mimics as well as systemic diseases related to stroke. In addition to research, Dr Yedavalli is an active member of a number of national committees with a strong interest in leadership. He is currently a member of the ASNR Research, Education, Social Media/Website, and Young Professionals Committees. He also served as the Co-Chair for the Social Media Committee for the ASFNR 2019. Previously, Dr Yedavalli was an Illinois ACR RFS Delegate in 2017 and 2018. He will also be the ASNR’s AMA Representative at this upcoming meeting. Dr Yedavalli’s interests additionally include educational and teaching endeavors. He was previously the recipient of the Department of Radiology Education Award during his residency training. He prefers a balanced teaching approach with trainees with focused learning while maintain autonomy for a more productive learning environment.
Prof Dr Wilfred Peh

Wilfred Peh is Senior Consultant Radiologist, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital; Clinical Professor, National University of Singapore (NUS); Chief Examiner, MMed (Diagnostic Radiology) NUS and Examiner, FRCR. He was Founding President, Asian Musculoskeletal Society and Immediate Past President, Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors. He has authored 11 books, >70 book chapters and >500 journal publications. Editorial boards include: Advisor/Past Chief Editor, Singapore Medical Journal; Senior Editor, British Journal of Radiology and >30 journals including Radiology, AJR, Skeletal Radiology, Seminars in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Awards include: Distinguished Senior Clinician Award (MOH Singapore), Lifetime Achievement Award (Singapore Radiological Society-College of Radiologists), Public Administration Medal (Republic of Singapore).
Dr Wong Jia Huey

Dr Wong Jia Huey is a clinical radiologist at Sarawak General Hospital. She completed her medical degree at UNIMAS in 2010 and subsequently obtained her post-graduate specialist qualification from the Royal College of Radiology as well as Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology, NUS) in 2018. She is currently a fellow in Body Imaging (Oncology) under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Oncologic Imaging is her niche area of interest and expertise, which includes staging, reassessment, and treatment planning utilising multi-modalities. She continues to embrace the art of seeking knowledge by actively participating in regional and international conferences.
Dr Wu Hung Ta
Chief of the Musculoskeletal Section
Dr Hung-Ta, Wu is currently the Chief of the Musculoskeletal Section, Department of Radiology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and former Chair of the Musculoskeletal imaging subcommittee, Taiwan Radiological Society. He is an assistant professor at National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, receiving outstanding teaching faculty awards since 2014. Dr Wu majored in imaging of bone tumors, derangement of joints, and rheumatic disease. He is the leading radiologist in CT- guided tumor ablation in Taiwan.
Dr Yap Soo Shu

Dr Yap Soo Shu is a clinical radiologist in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar. She graduated from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2010 and attained her post-graduate qualification in 2018. She furthers her subspecialty fellowship program in body oncologic imaging under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. She has a keen interest in multimodality cancer imaging and is passionate about continuous learning and deliberate practice in this constantly changing oncology field.
Dr Zakhirati Zainol Abidin

Dr Zakhirati Zainol Abidin graduated with MBBS from Monash University, Victoria in 2009. She obtained her Masters degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2018. She is now a Fellow in Interventional Radiology, undergoing training in hospitals in Klang Valley and Sarawak.
